· A limited number of camper/trailer spaces are available on a first come-first serve basis.  Camping spaces will be assigned at the discretion of the fair board and space is limited.  Purchasing of extra space for awnings/slide-outs may not always be possible. 

· A $30.00 fee will be charged for each space, $40.00 for spaces with electrical hook-up.

· The fair board reserves the right to move any camper that is incorrectly parked

· Campers must use appropriate electrical cords

· Trailers not used for camping will not be allowed in the camping area

· No awnings or slide-outs are allowed to extend into the next camping space

· No dumping of sewage or grey water onto the ground is permitted


  1. All exhibitors agree to be bound by the rules and                   regulations of the Waterford Community Fair.

  2. The fair management reserves the right to amend or add to these rules and regulations as it's judgment may determine.

  3.  Reasonable care will be taken to protect all exhibits on display from all injury and damage, but the fair IS NOT, in any way, to be held responsible for accidents, loss or damage by water, fire, theft, or otherwise, whatever may be the cause or extent of the damage or loss.

  4. Entries will be made according to classification

  5. Premiums, as listed, may be given for meritorious exhibits. In cases where there is no competition, judges may give an award such as they deem the exhibit is worthy to receive. Same rule applies where there are fewer entries in any class than the number of premiums offered. The judges may, at their discretion, award a ribbon or rosette.  The fair reserves the right to determine how many entries they will accept from an exhibitor in the same class or, in the case of livestock, the same breed, and poultry, the same  species. THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES SHALL BE FINAL IN ALL CASES except where mistakes, fraud, misrepresentation, or collusion, not discovered at the time of the award, is proved. In such cases, the superintendent, manager or secretary of the fair or show, or such referee as he may appoint, may make the decision. The case may   be appealed to the Fair Management or Show Commission from whose decision there can be no appeal. NO JUDGING ON THE DANISH SYSTEM.

  6. It shall be the responsibility of the exhibitor to make known the PROPER NAME of the article or breed of livestock he is entering. Any item entered improperly will be disqualified to receive a prize but the judges will mark the correct name on the entry tag for the benefit of the owner so the same mistake in entering need not be made the second time.

  7. All entries must be in place no later than 8:00pm SUNDAY unless other arrangements have been made with the respective department head.

  8. Superintendents of departments reserve the right of refusing to accept any entry. Furthermore, the superintendents reserve the right to bar from competition animals, vegetables, flowers, poultry, products and manufactured articles of decidedly inferior quality and those not possessing sufficient merit to warrant recognition. (The Superintendents must notify exhibitors of any exhibits that have wilted or become unfit. After having done this, the superintendent may dispose of the exhibit at his discretion.)

  9. The Fair Management may, at any time, order the removal of any exhibit or part of exhibit in bad condition, any article unfit to show may be excluded. Food products cannot be polluted with any substance or chemical that causes them to become poisonous and unfit to be used as food. No exhibit may be removed at any time before the close of the fair, except by consent of the management.

  10.  Where award ribbons are stolen or destroyed, the exhibitor may receive a duplicate at the close of the fair or show which shall be supplied by the fair free of charge.

  11. During the judging, buildings, except livestock arena, are to be closed to everyone except fair officials, judges, Pennsylvania Fair Fund Officials, and necessary attendants. No exhibitor nor his agent shall communicate with the judge during the time of determining the awards except to answer questions proposed by the judges. Any exhibitor interfering with the judges while making awards shall forfeit any premium to which he would otherwise be entitled.

  12. All livestock offered for premiums must have been the property of the owners for thirty (30) days or longer. (Livestock or poultry entered under a name other than the owner's shall be disqualified for premiums.)

  13. Should any animal awarded a prize be disqualified, the animals gaining the lower prizes shall move into the next higher position if, in the opinion of the judges, the animals are worthy of such prizes.

  14. Over-fitting of cattle will be discriminated against. Any artificial means used to change the form or shape of an animal will disqualify it from competition.

  15. When on exhibition in the ring, each animal must be under halter and in charge of the owner or employee. The fair will have stand-by attendants available during the youth judging or showing, men designated if there is trouble with the animals.

  16.  Joint ownership considered to be as one owner in accordance with registration papers.

  17. Premiums and entries should be collected between 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm Saturday.

  18. $2.00 entry fee per animal/per department.

  19. No livestock on midway.

  20. A $40 .00 fee to be charged for each electrical hookup - (Campers, trailers, etc.)

  21. DRESS CODE - At minimum, exhibitors handling and/or show  showing animals at the fair are required to wear appropriate   hard sole shoes, especially for beef cattle and hogs.   No sandals permitted.

General Admission

All individuals, (including exhibitors) must have paid daily admission, purchased a weekly booster button or possess an
official admission pass issued by the fair.

Exhibit Registration Guidelines

· Less traffic and congestion at entry stations

· No admission required to register exhibit

· Enjoy the Labor Day holiday at the fair with family and friends

· Fair attendees will have an earlier opportunity to view entries

Individuals wishing to enter exhibits for judging and premium consideration can do so on the Exhibit Registration Day from 9:00am to 8:00pm. On arrival, please visit the entry desk in Home Show Building #1 to receive entry tickets for those items you wish to exhibit.


Judging of perishable items will begin immediately following the close of registration.  Therefore, and without exception, all Baked Products entries must be in place by 8:00pm Sunday to be considered for any premium, contest or award.


In an effort to increase the efficiency of the exhibit registration process, PRE-REGISTRATION is encouraged wherever possible, and required for all livestock entries (with the exception of rabbits).


In ALL cases, each exhibitor is assigned an EXHIBITOR NUMBER.  If you've entered an exhibit in previous years at the Waterford Fair, your exhibitor number is already assigned.  For new exhibitors, an exhibitor number must be assigned prior to registering or entering your exhibit. New exhibitor numbers will be assigned at the entry table on registration day, or can be obtained in advance by contacting:

In the case of livestock, ALL ENTRIES MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED using the blank livestock entry forms supplied in the fair book or downloaded from the fair’s web-site. Forms should be completed in their entirety and forwarded to the respective department chairman at the addresses supplied in the fair book or published on this web-site. Please take careful note of the entry-date deadlines for each respective department.


Non-Livestock exhibits can ALWAYS be entered in person on the exhibit registration day of the fair.


While not required, all other entries may be pre-registered using the blank entry forms supplied in the fair book or download forms from the fair web-site. Forms should be completed in their entirety and forwarded to Entries Chairman:

On-line pre-registration is currently unavailable.


When exhibits are pre-registered, the entry is recorded in our entry database and an entry ticket for each entry is generated by our computer system.  These entry tickets can be picked up at the entry table on the first day of the fair, or, if there’s sufficient lead time, arrangements can be made  to pick up the entry tickets prior to the first  day of the fair.  Pre-registration of exhibits is available until the Thursday before Labor Day.
