RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1.  Pre-enter by proper class and description.

  2.  If there is a question that a certain item will be ready or not at fair time, pre-enter anyway.

  3.  Exhibits not removed during the stipulated removal time allotted by the Fair are the responsibility of the owner.

  4.  Exhibits remaining after the allotted removal time will be considered abandoned and discarded

  5.  Entries are limited to one per class per exhibitor.

1.  Hybrid-Field Corn - (5 ears) Husk Off 

  A.   Open Pollinated

SECTION RULES

  Long hay only.  An exhibit of 6-8” in thickness tied together, not in a bag.

 

Class Descriptions:

 1.  Alfalfa or Alfalfa Grass Mixed, not over 50% of grasses.

  A.  First cutting.

  B.  Later cuttings.

 2.    Other Legumes or Legume Grass Mixtures, not over 50% of

 grasses.

 3.    Grass - Mixtures of Timothy and/or other grasses and 

  containing not   more than 10% legumes.

  A.  First cutting.

  B.  Second cutting.

 4.  Legume other than Alfalfa - second cutting, not more than 50%

grasses.

 5.  Mixed Hay - any mixture not classified in the previous classes

but which contains 50% or more singly or in combination of  Alfalfa, Timothy, Clover and Grasses.

 6.  Summer Annual Grasses - Sudan grass, Sorghum-

Sudan, hybrids, etc. 

SECTION 3 - SILEAGE

PREMIUMS:   1st - $5.00    2nd - $4.00    3rd - $3.00     4th - $2.00

SECTION RULES

Silage crop must be named.  Exhibits shall consist of 10 pounds (Large size plastic bags are excellent containers for transporting or showing samples.)
