RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. Entries must be received by August 19 and must show class.   $2.00 per head/per department entry fee must accompany the entry blank.

  2. ALL SWINE -  “Certificate of Veterinary Inspection” (CVI) or "Interstate Certificate of Veterinary Inspection" (ICVI) must be issued within 30 days of opening date of the fair.  Refer to DEPARTMENT 5 - SWINE for complete Swine health rules.

  3. No breeding animals will be admitted to the Fair. Market Swine must weigh a minimum of 200 lbs. and a maximum of 325 lbs.  One animal per exhibitor.

  4. 4-H AND F.F.A SWINE ENTRIES ELIGIBLE FOR FITTING/SHOWMANSHIP AND GOOD HOUSEKEEPING AWARDS.

  5. Both barrows and gilts will be accepted for market classes. 

  6. Market Swine will be divided into nearly equal classes or sub-classes by the Department Chairs and their representatives at their discretion. There will be a maximum of 9 classes/sub-classes with a minimum of 4 animals per class/sub-class.
