Adult Classes:     1st - $50.00  2nd-$30.00   3rd - $20.00

RULES:

1.       All participants are expected to compete in a fair manner and abide by  all rules.  Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and can result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of any entry fees or awards.

2.       A panel of event  superintendents will review all scenarios not specifically covered by published rules.  All decisions by superintendents are final without appeal.

3.       Everyone competing and/or operating an ATV is required to wear a DOT helmet, eye protection (glasses, goggles, face shield), long-sleeved shirt, long pants and closed-toed shoes.  Other protective gear is strongly recommended.

4.       Stock and modified machines are permitted with any tire size. Paddles, chains and spikes are not permitted.  Natural aspiration only.  No nitrous oxide and no nitro methane may be used.

5.       Insurance and registration is highly recommended. 

6.       ATV’s may be inspected at any time by event officials.

7.       Participants may enter more than one event in each class, but may enter each event only once.  ATVs may be used by more than two (2)  competitors.

8.       Operators must stay on their machine during the run; dismounting from the machine terminates the run, unless otherwise instructed in the event description or event official.

9.       ATVs cannot be ridden outside of the track area and pits. Speed limit 5mph strictly enforced.

10.       In case of breakdown, riders are responsible for hooking the tow rope to his/her machine; any and all damages incurred when being towed are the sole responsibility of the rider.

11.     The Waterford Community Fair, it’s committees including volunteers and  event /track personnel and officials are not responsible for accidents, injury or theft to property.  Personal ATV insurance and registration is highly recommended.

12.     Non-compliance with the rules of this event or general rules of the fair may result in disqualification, expulsion and forfeiture of all prizes.

13.     Scoring rules and descriptions for each ATV Rodeo event will be distributed at the drivers meeting on the date of the rodeo.

14.     All operators must be at least 16 years of age, 12 years of age with adult waiver.

EVENTS:

Barrel Race

The fastest time running the

designated pattern around the

barrels. The pattern may be run

in either direction. Each barrel

knocked over will result in a

5 second penalty. Breaking the

pattern will result in disqualification.

 

Pole Bending

The fastest time running the

designated pattern. The pattern

may be run in either direction.

Each pole knocked over will

result in a 5 second penalty.

Breaking the pattern will result in disqualification.

Obstacle Course

The fastest time running the designated pattern (to be posted the day of the race). Each obstacle not successfully completed will result in a 5 second penalty. Breaking the pattern will result in disqualification. Riders may dismount without penalty.

Obstacles may include:

  • Bridges / teeter-totters

  • Driving over logs

  • One wheeled / banked crawls

  • Weaving / maneuvering

  • Small jumps
